Taken from the Flow Fields series by software and net artist LIA, this reinterpretation of Van Gogh’s The Starry Night painting reworks and processes the historic painting into a modernised work of generative art. Using the original colour palette as a base, her custom-made computer code then translates the imagery to create a new revision using the ‘flow fields’ technique of revealing visible lines and loops in magnetic fields, allowing the visuals to evolve in motion.
