About this artwork
Waiting for Rain is a moving image work which is part of the Waiting collection of ten works, each of which is created to seamlessly and continuously loop.
The collection was largely inspired by the works of the Danish Modernism and Expressionism movement, in particular the work of Carl Holsøe and Vilhelm Hammershøi.
The 19th century architecture has an angular subtilty, the fire fails to bring warmth to the room. If it does rain, her domestic duties will change.
