Brian Middleton's current works are memory-references of his drives towards the Pacific Coast of Canada through the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia and Alberta. He often begins his paintings with his photographs of random or unrelated subjects which he then incorporates into his final painting. He lives and works on Vancouver Island.
