Orbital Leap (Polyptych in Polyptych) is one of eight artworks comprising the Entangled: The Human Gaze in an Age of Quantum Entanglement by Terry Flaxton.

Orbital Leap is the full state change from the digital into the quantum era. The universal triptych has reformed into a series of triptych’s – iconic representations of reality and those triptychs themselves become a kaleidoscope of Polyptych. The quantum energy has leapt form one orbit to another. The dark matter has manifested momentarily. Abstractions have been undertaken and symbolism of the circle has reformulated into a recognisable set of quadrants and rectangles that are forever in a fluctuating state of flickering change. The mind that gazes is simultaneously the viewed and the viewer. Everything arises together in a state of co-dependent origination. This is Viola's Ocean without a shore. The celestial sounds heard are the deep echoes of the first sound together formulating the many symphonies of the Quantum Era. A Jacobean Procession – where solemnity is agreed to, but there’s a bounce in the step to the funeral cortege - when all is understood and everything has been undertaken.
